This Saturday was our 5th Annual Ping Pong Balls of Fury Tournament. It's a little spin off the movie Balls of Fury with playing table tennis...but we have to wear a costume, and Richie's beer is always on tap. It was a blast!
This year, I planned ahead and made a playlist of 90 songs...5-6 hours of partay music. Our friend, Dave, came and set up professional stage lights over the table like last year. This year, we had a little live music too! Thanks so much Dave for the setup and bringing all your gear and speakers, making it an amazing time!!
We had about 40 people here and about 30 people playing. Congratulations to Sol (Pinata man), who got in First place!! Richie (Tiny Dancer) came in 2nd, and PJ (Karate Kid), came in 3rd.
**My costume was under $10. The wig was the most expensive (about 4 euro), and the jumpsuit I got 2nd hand for a few bucks!!!
We ended up finishing about 1:30AM!!!! We're already talking about next year and how we can make it bigger & better. We're thinking two ping pong tables to make the games move a little more quickly so we won't be done so late. It would also be great to have people bring tents to camp out in the back yard. Even though we moved this years game back a month, it was still way too cold!!! So....it'll be in August next year right after German school starts.
We had some friends stay the night and the furthest traveled award goes to Catherine Gennette! She's a friend from the States who lives in Bamburg, Germany. So much fun to have her take the 3 hour trip!
Also, in honor of it being our 5th Annual, we decided to throw in a People's Choice Award for best Costume. Marge Simpson won!!

I had all my leopard out for a costume...luna found it and came down the stairs with it on when she was supposed to be sleeping. lolol! She wore the boots and vest to bed. ;)
